Composition: Each swing safety mat is 100% rubber.
Dimensions: The mats each measure 3'4" long by 3'4" wide by 1.5" thick.
Design: The edges are bevelled, to minimize tripping and contact points.
Uses: These swing safety mats absorb the impact that occurs if a child falls off a swing. They're also good for preventing kids' feet from eroding resilient surfacing underneath the swings.
Safety advisory: The swing safety mats should be used only on top of existing resilient surfacing, such as woodchips or wood fiber carpeting. If the mats are simply placed on top of hard surfacing (stone, blacktop), then they do not meet playground safety requirements.
